I wondered why she left so quickly. It bugged me all day but I tried to get my mind off this but switch on the cafes t.v. The news came on and the reporter was in the studio and the breaking news is that there's been 2 murders at rosewood forest. That got me scared than I already was. Good thing I got off early today. As I folded up my apron I glanced out the window the rain stopped and the sun was gleaming. I was happy to see that weather come along, I was planning to go for a swim. Scarlett hated staying in until 5. But if she got paid she wouldn't care. I was so happy to remember to wear my bathing suit under my clothes. As I heard the waves roar I ran as fast as I could, feeling the warm sand on my bare feet was nice the fine white sand welcomed me to the beach. I placed my clothes on a rock with my initials carved in it. As I dove into the ocean the water felt as if I just dived in a cool cloud of paradise. As I was underwater I started to swim then..... my tail popped out. My tail was shimmering gold mixed with orange like color. As I swam by the patches of coral surrounded by different colored fish, I heard a all the dolphins play a soothing and welcoming song. Life as a mermaid can be happy at sometimes. You can't get wet in public or your tail will pop out. You also have these special powers and you can communicate with sea creatures. All was peaceful until it started to get dark so I darted at the beach and dragged my self to shore. I watched my legs come back and slipped back on my clothes and grabbed my sketchbook. My hair raced with wind as I tried to hurry myself to get to the movie theater on time to see Scarlett. I check the time and it's almost 7.
