I realized I ditched Daren and the movie was about to be over so I just walked home. I opened my apartment door and before I walked in I saw a note pinned on my door. It was from Daren,

I knew this was bad but I just decided to relax. I just got into my pajamas and watched anime. In the middle of the 16th episode I'm thirsty. I have no straws, so I took my chances and got wet. When I turned into a mermaid Scarlett was knocking at the door.
