Fernando Torres scored in the dying minutes to send Barcelona out and Chelsea through.
Last nights second leg champions league semi final turned into one of the most dramatic in champions league history. It wasn't an easy victory for Chelsea they came from two goals down to draw the 2nd leg and ultimately win overall. Barcelona scored twice in the first half with goals from Busquets and Iniesta. Chelsea replied on the stroke of half time via a Ramires goal to make it 2-2 on aggregate. The talking point of the match was John Terry's sending off just before half time for his needless challenge on Sanchez.
The second half looked likely to go into extra time with Barca pressuring and being awarded a penalty which surprisingly Messi missed. Messi's miss however favoured Chelsea and a break away goal scored by Torres who ran around Barca goalie Valdes to score and make it 3-2 on aggregate to send Chelsea to the final in Munich.
A deserved win from Chelsea who have revived their glory days. Torres looks to be playing some of his best football since joining Chelsea. Di Matteo certainly has gained some extra credit for his guidance and maybe he has just given himself the Chelsea job for another season.
