A work colleague has managed to pass on his three goldfish to me.

It's not that I said no, but, having had everything from a tortoise to a dog, I am at a total loss what to do with fish!

I have always 'trained' whatever animal I've shared my life with, to allow mutual pleasure, and expression, I even wondered around my varsity campus with a budgie on my shoulder called Jack, and trained Attack dogs in the army.

But, these fishes, who are still mortified at being moved, are just not playing the game, or perhaps I'm not.

I have visions of stunning plants, water features and shipwrecks, and playful banter at feeding, but currently, they are so skittish, they are causing cranial damage to themselves as they misguidedly bang into the tank when I approach!

I feel evil!

I am not going to cook them! I even though twice about the fish U was going to fry for dinner. (had duck instead, if you want to complain as a vegan)

It just didn't feel right.

So, it's the Internet I suppose, not for them, but for me to find food that will chill them out (no..not for sushi)..

Suggestions?
