Working In The uk

What has always amazed me, is the blatant disregard every company I have worked for, in the UK has treated its staff.
I know I haven't exactly had many jobs, in fact I have been in the current one fir almost 6years.
I am not talking about those head-hunted banker-*ankers, or litigation lawyers, I am talking about companies that seem to go out of their way to make the working experience as *rappy as possible.
Think of the minimum paid workers, who DONT claim benefits, and thus punished by having to polish the floors for 8hrs. And lunch not paid for.
