What happened to you?

What happened to us?

Our time has passed on

It was left in the dust

Life doesn't just stop

It never gives up

You press on the brakes

And life just speeds up

We once were good friends

We once had a bond

Now all the good times

Have seem to have gone

Gone far from today

So far far away

Now I'm sitting here

With nothing to say

But thanks for the time

We once had as friends

I miss all the talks

I cannot pretend

But my life moved on

And so did yours too

But looking back now

What else could I do?

I thought you were wrong

You thought I was too

We both pointed fingers

We both were the fools

Pride got in the way

Of what once was true

That we were best friends

And now I miss you

But I can't turn back

Life doesn't rewind

I'm walking away

I left you behind

I hope that you know

Ill never forget

That letting you go

Was my biggest regret....
