Is dark and the stars are cover by a dark mantle hiding their light, the mighty and royal sea is at war with the man's vessel, with every wave the ship rocks violently, with every thunder and lightning the man loses his hopes of making it back to his home, with another tale to tell at the tavern, with another adventure for his son. He fights against the sea but the sea is older, wiser and more powerful. the remaining bits of hope are shatter, he looks upon the picture of his beloved store inside the wallet giving to him Many aniversaries ago by her, she will love him forever even after his gone to Davy jones' locker. The thought brings a smile upon his wrinkle face, showing teeths yellow and broken by years of abuse, he always tought it would be alcohol or tabacco or both that kill him not the sea, he relize he was wrong. After all this years he finally understood his mistake, he had understimated the sea and the sea had come back to get him. He had no regrets of his life, no last minute conffesion, he had always Been happy, always love,. He had givin the sea many years of his life and the sea had giving him many full nets. He wasn't mad at the sea, or at himself or at the almighty, in fact he wasn't mad at all this was a death worth of a fisherman, like a warrior dying by the edge of a sharp sword. He walks out of the cabin, death haven't arrive yet to claim his mortal soul. The man looks at the days capture, and in a last atempt of survival he gave it back to the sea,. It was a futile attempt he could almost hear the sea laugh at him,. Little by little the vessel broke down water filtering in,. The sea was winning he knew it. At last the man fell down to his knees, raise his eyes toward the dark sky and pray to the gods one last time, he was greatful for his life, for the thing he had accomplish, for his family and in that moment the sea calm down. For that moment the man was thankful for the calm, he didn't notice when the storm came back twice as strong, he didn't relize when from the bow of the vessel a wave of the likes he had never seen hit the vessel with such force that the man hit the front wall of the cabin breaking every single of his bones, but the man never notice it, never felt when death came and claim his soul, the last tought in his mind was that calm before the storm.
