Fridays don't have to be parties til dawn.
Sometimes they are, and it's fun at this age.
An excuse to stay up, be young, make friends
A time to act and do whatever on stage.
But other times they're calm, a day spent in peace.
No alcohol, no drugs circulating the room.
Just time spent alone, on sun soaked grass
No hangover brewing for Saturday's doom.
Clear minded mornings before the start of day.
Noon times spent thinking of nothing at all.
Afternoon plans done calmly in pace.
No drunken chats and embarassing calls.
Life is still young, there's time for things.
It's good to slow down, not live too fast.
Wild nights will come, wild nights will pass.
But quiet times at home don't always last.
