If for just a moment I could have your attention please I need to say what's on my mind A few things I need to release.
First things first My heart it beats for me I can't just give it away like that I can't just set it free.
I've been hurt before And I will do whatever to protect If I deem you worthy of it Then its you that fate will select.
Secondly and most important I will never change I'm who I am because of me My life I will not rearrange.
God gave me a gift And it's a life that is mine I laugh, I cry, I stress till I snap But still manage to end up just fine.
Third and finally Stop telling me what to do I can make that choice myself It's not up to you.
Let me live my life I will do it my own way Thank you for your time And have a wonderful day!
