I wrote this for my nephew, who is doing time. I miss him like I lost my left arm:(
When the world seems so bitter and nothing goes your way, Remember that I am your friend and it's by your side that I will stay. When troubles have you down and the light just can't be found Remember that I'll always be there to pick you up when you are down. When time just seems to fly by and you still have things to do Remember that you can call on me to always be there to help you. I wish that I could take away all your pain and fears, I'd do anything in this world to wipe away your tears. This mountain that you're about to climb is something you must do But I promise when you reach the top I'll be there waiting for you.
