"What the heck was that for!?" "I don't know." "your really stupid." "go away." "jeez." I pick myself up off the floor and go back to my room to change for school. Sitting on my bed is One Direction's new album Take Me Home. Yay! I can't wait to listen to all the songs next week, because we still have that stupid bet going on. I change and go downstairs for breakfast. "Annie?" "Yes?" "it's Niall can you close your eyes for a second?" "um sure?" I close my eyes and when Niall tells me to open them again I'm amazed. "It's a puppy. For you. We all decided that you needed somebody around the house while were gone so." I take the adorable little puppy in my hand. "It's a dinmont terrier." "I love it! Thank you. But what do you mean while you guys are gone?" He turns around and Liam, Harry, and Louis come around the corner. "It means that we're going to L.A. for a week then to New York and we can't bring anyone." Liam explains. "But what about Thanksgiving." "We will be gone." "So the dog was a present while you guys are gone?" "pretty much." "When do you leave?" "Tomorrow." "oh. How long are you going to be in New York?" "from the 30th to the 5th." "But you said you'll be in L.A. For a week. What are you doing for the time in-between?" "Well everyones going back to U.K. for the holiday." Louis says. "And Ireland." Niall adds. "What about you Liam?" "Well after L.A. I can fly here for a day or two then me and you can fly to Wolverhampton." "okay. But then what about New York?" "I'll see if you can come with me since your my sister." "okay. But-" "stop saying but!" Zayn exclaims. "but can I stay home from school since you guys leave tomorrow an I won't see you for a while?" "sure. We can pick out names for your new puppy." "okay." "It was Niall's idea for the dog!" Harry blurts, which earns him a smack in the back of the head from Niall. "Thanks Niall." "You're welcome." he gives a small smile then looks to the ground. I move my gaze to a wall that is suddenly ten times more interesting. "c'mon let's go sit on the couch and name this little guy." Harry says. "okay." I walk over to the couch and put the dog on my lap. "So any ideas?" I ask looking to everyone. "What about... Driver?" Louis suggests. "Zayn!" Zayn yells completely serious. "really?" "sorry." "Hazza!" "Harry no." "so close." "not really. Liam?" "Woody." "possibly. Niall what about you?" "um Grady or Clover." "I like Grady." "me too." Louis says. "But what about Driver?" "Driver is the name of Josh Hutcherson's dog." "How do you know?" "my friends are obsessed with him." "I see." "Did you guys buy food?" "uh." "let's go to the store I guess." I grab my boots and put on a coat. "ready?" they all nod and head out the door to the car. I hand Grady to Niall, who's in the passenger seat and drive to the pet store. When we get there everyone gets out except Niall. "you coming?" "Yeah can I talk to you for a second?" "yeah hold on. Hey guys go on in I'll be a second!" I yell to the others. "what's up?" "I really am sorry Annie. I never meant to hurt you." "I know Niall. It's fine." "No it's not. I miss you Annie. The dog wasn't just because we are leaving it's because I really care about you. I was a huge retard for leaving you. Will you please forgive me?" "Can we talk about this later?" I get out of the car and run inside to find the boys. Niall runs in after me. There's a huge crash and I turn to see a huge bag of dog food fall onto Harry. I run to help him and slip on the food. I'm laying on Harry when Niall runs and slips. He falls on me, luckily Grady jumped out of my hands before I fell but he ran the other way. Zayn and Louis are chasing him around the store while Liam tries to help Harry, Niall, and me up. "Are you okay?" "yes but my bum hurts." "You fell on me!" Harry exclaims. "Niall fell on me!" we all turn to Niall, "well nothing fell on me!" "Go help Louis and Zayn find Grady." "k." he runs off stumbling on the food a little. Liam, Harry, and I pickup another bag of dog food and put it in the cart. We grab a leash, dog bowls, and brushes and head to the check out. Louis, Zayn, and Niall find us and hand me Grady. The boys pay for the things we bought and the mess we made. I drive back home and tell the boys except Niall to go play with Grady outside. I sit down on the couch across from Niall. "Annie I seriously am sorry." "I know that Niall." "I've miss you so much. Please forgive me." "Niall I forgive you but it doesn't mean anything." "Can we just pretend like the fight never happened?" "but it did Niall!" "I know. And if I could redo that night I would." "I know you would but I- maybe some day." with that I get up an go to the back yard to play with my puppy. "what were you and Niall talking about?" Zayn asks handing over Grady. "nothing." I say quietly hugging the dog. "So what are we doing today?" "I don't know." I hear my phone go off from inside and I run after it. I almost get it but Louis and Harry tackle me to the ground.
