One Who?!

I walk downstairs to get some breakfast on the first day of summer vacation. It is the summer between junior and senior year of high school. I am sixteen years old. My name is Annie Winter. I walk down the stairs like a ninja hoping not to wake the rest of my family. It's six in the morning. I am an early riser so I can get a lot done. I hear my mom talking on the phone. "Yes for the whole summer. They really want to? Thank you so much Simon. She will have so much fun. Okay bye now." she hangs up the phone. I turn around quietly to walk back up the stairs but she sees me. "Annie, come here I have some great news for you." I walk down the rest of the stairs and go into the kitchen. I go to the fridge and pull out the butter and bread. "sit down." my mother says before I can put the bread in the toaster.
I walk over to our kitchen table and sit down. "so what's the news?" "I am leaving for Australia today and you will be going to England." "England?" "yes and you know that boy band you like One Direction." "yes go on." "they will be taking care of you." "the whole summer?!" "yes." I run up to her and hug her I then pop the bread in the toaster and run to go pack. I throw my small amount of clothes in my bag. I get my shoes on then run to the family room. "what are you getting?" "MarioKart." "I don't think they have a wii." "then I'll bring the wii." "okay." I unplug everything and run back to my room. "My Toast!!" I yell from my room. I run back down to the kitchen. "I got it." "few." I take the cinnamon and sugar out. I make my toast and grab a cup of water and run back upstairs. "we leave at noon!" my mom yells from downstairs. I grab my brushes and lotion from the bathroom. I take my toothbrush and toothpaste. I run back to my room and pack. I put two pairs of socks in my bag. I grab my pillow pet then run back downstairs. "ready." "okay let's get to the airport." I look at the time it's already eight. The airport is an hour away. We get in the car and drive in silence. I put in my earphones and jam out to Boyfriend. My mom sings along to her country music. We park our car and I jump out. She grabs my bags and we run inside. It's nine thirty. We get through security and we sit by the gate. "okay the boys will pick you up on the other side." "you sure?" "I hope." I sit down in one of the chairs and listen to music. "now boarding to England." I grab my bag and ticket and board the plane. A man sitting behind me helps me put my bag in the overhead thing. I sit down and buckle. I pull my summer reading book out. I start to read and the plane takes off. I finish my book. "wow you read fast." I look next to me. I am sitting next to a little boy who is also flying alone. "I'm Annie." I say shaking his hand. "Luke." I pull out my other book and begin to read. "do you know how long until we land?" I ask. "three hours." "perfect thank you." I read my book again. I finish it as we are landing. I put them both away. I look out the window and see beautiful England. The plane lands and the man helps me get my bag. I come out of the plane and see five boys in colorful pants. They must have seen a picture of me because they drop everything and run towards me. "Ello love." I begin to laugh. "oh no we broke her." "you didn't break me." "then why are you laughing Love." "because you talk funny." "we talk funny? Your the one with an accent." "yes and no I'm talking English." after that Harry picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "please don't fart." I say. He begins to laugh. "I won't." "good."
He sets me down in front of a hummer stretch. "oh my gosh this is awesome." "have you ever been in one?" asks Zayn. "yeah my neighbors were going to a premiere and they weren't ready so they let all the kids in my neighborhood go for a ride. We went to In-N-Out." "In-N-Out?" asks Niall. "yes it's this place in Arizona that has hamburgers and it's really good. So we were going to go through the drive through but the car wouldn't fit. So the limo parked and we all got out and went inside to order than came back and drove home. It was fun." "sounds like it." says Liam. "I have a question." I say. "go ahead Love." says Louis. "do you ever sit around talking in English accents?" "all the time. What about you with British accents?" says Harry. "I do." someone is playing with my hair. I look over and see Liam attacking the curls in my hair. "you look like Harry and Niall combined." he says. "thanks?" we arrive at their house. They all pile over me to get out. They stick their butts in my face. I'm left in the car. "what happened to ladies first." I say. They all pile back into the car. "Ladies first." says Louis. I get out of the car and they pile out. Zayn is last so he grabs my bag. We run into the house. "wow." "Is this all you brought?" asks Niall. "that's all I wear." "to the mall." he says pointing towards the door. We drop our stuff and pile back into the limo.
We get to the mall. "where first?" Liam says. They all shout out different stores. "Toys R Us! Tillys! Aero! Jacks! The apple store!" "okay we will go to Jacks." he says. We skip over there. "try stuff on for us!" shouts Louis. "okay." I walk to the dressing room and they throw a bunch of clothes over in my size. I first try on a faded pink strapless dress that ends above my knees. I come out. "I like it!" they all yell. "I don't wear dresses." I say "why?" asks Niall. "I don't know. I don't wear skirts or dresses." "fine." I go back in and change into blue pants with a white shirt. I come out. "I like it!" yells Louis. Who I think picked it out. I go back in and pull on denim short shorts and a blue flowery tank top. "I like this." I say when I come out. "me too!" they all say. "do you have shoes?" asks Zayn. I look down at my shoes. "I wear these." "let's go." he says pulling on my arm. We walk into the vans store. They grab a bunch of shoes and ask for my size. I try them all on. "I like the purple and yellow." "then let's get them" says Liam. They pay for them and we walk to the apple store. They buy me in IPhone and case. "But I already have a phone." "let's see it" says Harry. I pull it out. He takes it and looks through all my pictures. "your a good photographer." "thanks." he gives me both phones. "here." "okay." "I'm hungry." says Niall. "me too." I say. "well we can't starve her. Let's go eat!" shouts Niall. "what do you like?" asks Liam. "anything really except chocolate, peanut butter, jelly, and other weird food." "wow okay." he says. "that takes out everything in our pantry." I give him a smile. "I like your smile." "thanks. So where are we going?" "it's a surprise." "okay." he picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "this I gotta say is better than walking." he sets me down. "what." they all motion their arms to the sign. "Sandy's?" "yes Sandy's." "what is it?" "food!" Niall screams in my ear. "thank you I never would have guessed." They pull me inside and we sit down. "we will order a bunch of food and you have to try it all." says Louis. "okay?" I say. All the food comes and they give me a plate to start. It's a chicken nugget. I take a bite and put it down. "no." I say. I take a drink of water because the chicken was spicy. Louis frowns. Liam pushes a plate in front of me. It's a salad. I take a bite. "eww is that ranch." "yeah." "I don't like ranch." "Ahh! You don't like anything." "I like ice cream." they give the cashier money then we run out of the restaurant. "now where?" "Ice Cream!!" they all yell. We skip to a cold stone. "finally american food." I say we walk in and order. I get a cake batter ice cream with no add ins. Niall looks at me. "Nothing else?" "no." we grab our ice creams and go back to the limo with all our bags. They all pile in with me outside. I get in and sit by the door. Harry gets up and sits on the other side of me by the door. Niall sits on the other side playing with my curls. We reach their house and I get out first. They grab the bags and we run inside.
We sit down on the couch. " what do you want to do?" asks Zayn. "play MarioKart." "MarioKart?" "yes it's in my bag go get it." he runs and slides to my bag he opens it up and grabs the wii and game and four controllers. He somehow figures out how to plug it into the tv. I turn it on. "how do you play?" asks Liam. "you have a character and a kart or bike and you race each other. Two is go. And B is to throw things." "okay" I pick diddy kong and the boys pick Mario, luigi, toad, toadette, and peach. I pick to play at the mall. I throw all my shells and hit Liam. "that's not fair!" "that's how you play." "blue shell!" he yells at me. I stop and Zayn drives in first and gets hit by the shell. "Liam!" "that was for Annie!" Zayn gets bananas and throws them at Niall. "hey!" I finish in first, Liam second, Zayn third, Niall fourth. "Niall switch with Harry since you lost." "I didn't lose! Wario did!" "Warios a computer." he switches and I pick rainbow road. I wait at the finish line in the beginningand get a bullet bill. I push them all off the edge. "Hey!" "hay is for horses." I come in first Harry second Zayn third and Liam last. "Liam switch with Louis." "fine." we play till the end of the circuit me winning and the boys not placing. It's now midnight. They all fall asleep on the couch. Louis and Harry have their heads on my lap. Niall is leaning against my legs on the ground and Liam and Zayn laying over me. I fall asleep leaning on Louis.
I wake up in someones bed. I turn on my side and see Liam next to me. "Ello mate." "hi. Where am I?" "I carried you to my room." "why?" "well my room is the cleanest." "oh. Thanks. Why does my nose hurt?" he looks at me. "um well when I was carrying you up here I hit your nose on the door. Sorry." "your forgiven." "yay." "what time is it?" "eight." "k" I get up and go downstairs. "does anyone want to make me breakfast!" I yell from the kitchen. All the boys come downstairs. "you don't know how." "I bake. I can't cook." "you can't cook anything?" asks Niall "nope name a food and I will say if I can't or not." "soup." "microwaveable." "rice." "not at all." "macaroni and cheese." "unless you want it hard." "what can you bake?" "pancakes, cake, cookies, cupcakes. Anything really."
Zayn comes down last and pulls out a bowl. "pancakes please." I take the bowl. "okay do you all want pancakes." "yes please!" they all sit down at the kitchen table and watch me patiently. I finish the pancakes and put them on a plate. They devour them. I sit down and eat a pancake. "these are yummy." says Niall. They all nod.
Simon walks in. "Annie." he says. "Simon." the boys laugh. He comes up to me and hugs me. "how are they treating you?" "good we went shopping and played Mario kart." "where did you sleep?" Liam answers. "we fell asleep on the couch and then we all went up to our rooms and she slept in my room cause it's the cleanest." "fun." "okay come to dinner at my house tonight." "okay." answers Zayn. He grabs a pancake and leaves. "what do we do today?" asks Louis. I lay down on the couch. The boys come and lay on top of me. "I hope you guys have pants on." I look back and see they are all in their boxers with no shirts on. "nope." says Harry. "great." I say with a smile. "let's go play jump rope!" says Zayn. "okay." we go outside and play jump rope. I'm jumping with Louis. He pushes me down. "ouch." I say. I hold my ankle. "Louis what did you do!" yells Niall. "I pushed her." "you broke her!" I begin to cry. "you made her cry!"shouts Liam. He picks me up. My ankle is turned sideways. "stop crying." "I can't it hurts." "well let's take you to the doctors." "no I hate the doctors." "we have to." he puts me in the car and Louis starts driving because he's the only one with a license. "we only had her for two days and we already broke her." "please stop crying." says Niall. They all hug me. I stop crying. Liam is still holding me. Harry and Niall are playing with my hair. Zayn is watching. "I'm sorry." says Louis. "it's okay." I say back telling him it's not his fault. We reach the doctor and Liam carries me in. The doctor sees one direction and puts us in a room. He takes an x-ray of my ankle then touches it. "ouch. Ow that hurts. Stop." "okay it's not broken but it is twisted. You need to stay off it for a week." "but then I can't do anything." "we will give you crutches and these nice boys will carry you around." I look to Liam. "we will take care of her." "you have to." "yeah we have to so." Liam carries me back to the car. Louis tries to make me feel better because it's his fault I'm hurt. "I'll buy you all the candy you want." "but it's British candy." "what's the difference?" "I don't know." "well do you want candy?" I nod my head. "I want candy too!" screams Zayn. "to the candy store!" we all say. We get to the candy store and Liam carries me inside. He drops me and runs to the skittles. I remain on the ground. Louis comes and carries me. "Candy!" he runs to the sour candy. "I like sour candy too!" we grab bags and throw a bunch of random candy in the bag. We pay for the candy then go home. Liam carries me up to his room." We are going to Simons house for dinner." "okay." "do you need anything?" "can you sing." "your insecure. Don't know what four." I fall asleep to the sound of his sweet voice. He kisses my forehead then puts a blanket over me.
"Annie wake up." I open my eyes and see Niall laying over me. "hi Niall." "we need to get ready for dinner." I get up and brush my hair. I put the outfit on that Louis picked out for me. We get into the limo and ride to Simons house. I sit down in-between Liam and Niall. The dinner is served. I take a bite and fall to the floor. "Annie!" "Annie what's wrong." I begin to blackout. "hospital. Now." I hear before I totally lose consciousness. I wake up and see the boys and Simon around me. "your allergic to onions?" asks Harry. "apparently." Simon leaves and I'm left with the boys. The nurse comes in. "that was close." "close?" "yes she is very allergic. If you didn't get here as fast as you did she could have died. Can I speak to who ever is watching her." "Liam." the boys volunteer. Liam walks with the nurse outside. I hear a crash. The boys run out of the room. Niall runs in. "your Liam's sister!" he yells at me. Liam runs in. "why didn't you tell me!" "I didn't know!" "how could you not know your last name was Payne?!" "Stop yelling at me!" "Not until you give me answers!" I cover my ears and close my eyes. I begin to cry. "Liam shut up!" yells Louis. "No!" "Liam calm down." says Zayn. "I liked having only brothers. Now I have to deal with her!" I turn over and cover my head with the pillow. "Liam!" yells Niall. He realizes what he has said. "Annie, I'm sorry." "Go away! All of you! Please!" I hear the door shut. I take the pillow off and see Zayn at the edge of the bed. "Go away Zayn." "nope." "fine you can stay." "what's wrong." "everything. Liam now hates me. My mom is going to be in Australia for another year. And-" "Annie." I look up. "Liam doesn't hate you." "yes he does. Didn't you hear him!" "how else was he supposed to react." "I don't know maybe. I have a sister! Not know I have to deal with her."
"Annie he loves you." "well I want to hear that from him." "we all love you. Your all of our sisters now. Your just related to Liam." he gives me a kiss on my forehead. "get some sleep." I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I hear people walk in. "Annie I know you can't really hear me because your asleep. But its Louis. I hope you feel better and I'm sorry about Liam." he falls asleep holding my hand. I wake up and give him a kiss. He gives me a little smile in his sleep. I open my eyes and see I'm in a different room. I turn over and see Louis. "good morning Love." I give him a smile. "how do you feel?" "fine." "does your ankle hurt?" "no." "that's good." "I'm hungry." "I'm surprised your not related to Niall." "not now." "sorry." I get out of bed and walk downstairs. I go to lay on the couch but Liam's there. I go to the kitchen table and lay across it. I fall asleep again. "Annie wake up." I open my eyes and see Liam standing next to the table. I get up and run. I'm slow so he catches me. He grabs my waist and pins me down. "let me go." "no." "Niall! Louis! Zayn!" before I could yell for Harry he covers my mouth. "let me go!" I kick him. He let's go and I run. He stands up and catches me. "Annie we need to talk!" "about what!" "Annie please listen." "fine." "I'm sorry. I was in shock. You have to tell me. Did you know that we were siblings." "I knew I had four brothers but my mom said one of them died in a car crash. And so I only have three. But apparently your still alive." "Annie how could you think that I died." "I was three I didn't know anything." "well obviously." "But why don't I have the same last name as you?" "mum and dad got divorced I went with mum and you went with dad and mum got remarried, so our name changed." "can you get off of me?" "no your just going to run again." "can we be done." "no there's more." "how did you not know about me." "because you were born then dad left with you. I didn't know if you were alive." the rest of the boys gathered around. "Annie I love you." "your just saying that." "no I'm not. I really do." "get off of me." he gets up and I run but Louis catches me as I run past him. "put me down!" "sorry love." I stop struggling. He puts me in his lap. He's still holding onto my waist. "let me go. Please." "Liam." "let her go." he let's me go and I run to Louis' room. I lock the door and jump onto his bed. I lay face down and cry. "Annie open the door." "go away!" "it's Niall." I open the door. He engulfs me in a hug. "Annie are you okay." "yeah it just when Liam brought up dad I just got sad." "why?" "well I don't know if he knew this but when I was seven my dad died." "how?" "he had cancer and didn't tell our mum." "I'm sorry dear." "it's alright." "can you come back down stairs?" "sure." we walk back down. "Annie has something to tell you!" blurts Niall. I look to him and he gives me a shy smile. "um I don't know if mum told you this or even knew but when I was seven dad passed." "And your telling me this now!" "I'm sorry. I thought you knew." "I barely knew I had a sister!" "Liam calm down." says Niall. "God I hate you right now!" I stare at him while he storms out of the house. I don't do anything but sit down on the floor. "Annie he didn't mean it." says Louis. "no he meant it. I know he never lies." Louis sits next to me as the boys try to talk to Liam. "I still haven't eaten." I tell Louis. "do you want breakfast?" I nod my head. We walk to the kitchen. He makes me scrambled eggs. I eat them as Niall and Harry walk in. "I want some" Niall yells as he sits next to me. Louis makes him a plate and I watch him devour the eggs. Zayn walks in. "well can't find Liam." "just let him calm down. We almost killed his sister, he found out he had a sister and he just found out his dad died so he might be kinda stressed." I just sit and stare at my empty plate. "do you want more Annie?" I look up. "no thanks." I say then look back down. I get up and lay down on the couch. The boys come and sit on me. "every one hates me." "no one hates you Annie." says Harry. "Liam does. I just met him and I already found a way for him to hate me." "he's just stressed Love." it's only the third day of summer. You can change that." adds Niall. Zayn gives me a kiss on the cheek. I stand up and begin to cry. Niall stands in front of me. He takes my waist and kisses my lips. I close my eyes. He pulls away and I open my eyes. "Annie I-" I take his face in my hands and kiss him again. I let go. Harry, Zayn, and Louis stare at us. "Niall!" Liam yells from the back door. He clenches his fists and walks towards Niall. He knocks him down and pins him to the ground. "Liam! I kissed him! It was all my fault!" the boys help me pull him off of Niall. "dude what the hell was that?!" yells Niall. "you kissed my sister!" he yells back. "I kissed him Liam! Don't blame him. Blame me." Liam turns to me. he looks at me then walks upstairs and slams his door shut. "Annie I can't let you take the blame." says Niall. "it's okay. I'd rather him hate me then you." "thanks." I lay down on the couch. Niall sits next to me. "goodnight." "it's only one." "oh." he plays with my hair. "why?" I ask him. "why what?" "Why did you kiss me?" "your eyes looked beautiful and they sparkled. I couldn't resist. Your beautiful." I give him a welcoming smile. "why did you kiss me?" he asks. "because your blue eyes looked so nice. I fell in love with them." I hear awws around the room. "Niall just kiss her already!" yells Louis. Niall picks me up and kisses me. "yay!" says Harry. I hug Niall. Liam comes back down. Niall sets me down. "Niall I'm sorry." he starts. "and Annie I don't hate you no one does. I love you and I mean it. And you two would make a great couple. If you want to be together you can." I hug Liam. "thanks big brother." "your welcome little sister." I smile at him. I sit down on the couch. Niall and Liam sit beside me. Louis, Zayn and Harry sit by us. "what time is it?" I ask. "four in the morning." answers Zayn. "why are you all still sitting here go to bed." "why don't you go to bed?" "because I can't sleep." "same." I put my head on Liam's lap. Niall leans against me and Louis, Zayn, Harry against us. I fall asleep at six.
"is she dead?" "I don't know poke her." "no you poke her." "no you." someone falls over me. "owwie." I say waking up. Niall comes to my side. "are you okay sweetie?" "I'm fine. Thanks." he kisses my forehead. "Breakfast!" we yell at the same time. He takes my hand and we run downstairs. I can hear Louis and Harry talking. "wow." "yeah they are a crazy couple." we sit down at the table. "Louis!" we both yell. He comes downstairs. "what?" "breakfast please." I say. "fine I'll make you an omelet." "yay." he makes us omelets. We eat them and sit on the couch. I put my feet over the edge and lay my head down so I'm upside down. "watcha doin?" asks Liam. "layin down." "okay." the doorbell rings. "Someones at the door!!" I yell. "thank you!" yells Liam. He goes to the door and answers it. "Danielle, Eleanor, Perrie!" he yells. I remain sitting upside down on the couch. Louis and Zayn run to the door. "come in." they walk in and see me. "who's this Liam?" "my sister." "you have a sister!" she runs towards me. "I'm Danielle." "Annie." "why didn't you tell me you had a sister." "I just found out yesterday." "oh." Eleanor and Perrie come and sit next to me with Louis and Zayn. "so what are you guys doing here?" asks Niall. "well we were going to ask if you guys wanted to go to a fashion show with us but it looks like you have company." "Niall and Harry can stay with me you guys can go." "no it's okay me Danielle and Perrie can go without you guys." "you sure?" "yeah." when they were walking out I heard Danielle say something to Liam. "no offense but I really hate your sister." "thanks?" "well now someone hates you." says Liam. "yay." I look at my phone. "Liam have you told mum that you found me?" "No. Why?" "because my mum died." "What?!" "she was on her plane to Australia and it crashed yesterday. They just found the plane." I burst into tears. Niall gives me a hug. Liam sits next to me and stares at me. He gives me a hug. I put my face into his chest and cry. Louis, Harry, and Zayn sit by us. "Annie I'm so sorry." says Louis. "Let's go see mum." Liam picks me up and carries me to the car. I sit in his lap the ride there. He picks me up again and we walk to the door. "boys!" she says. "Ello mum this is Annie." "you found her!" "yeah and dad died ten years ago and her step mum passed away yesterday in a plane crash." "poor dear. Come inside." by this time I have stopped crying. Liam's brothers, well mine too surround me. "she's pretty." "back off boys she's mine." says Niall. "Niall they're her brothers." says Louis. "sister!" yells one of the boys. I giggle a little. "I'm Annie." "I'm Josh, this is Paul, and that is Ryan." "nice to finally meet my brothers." "mum why didn't you tell us we had a sister?" asks Josh. "Josh chill." says Liam. "mum what do we do? We were watching her for the summer and now she has no family to go home to." "Liam we are her family. She will stay with you boys." "yeah party!" says Zayn. I look at him. "sorry." "but what about school." "you will go to school here." "okay." "well mum we better get going." "wait don't kill her." "too late." Harry says as they run out the door. I say good bye to my new family then hop into the car. "you have some crushes from your own brothers." says Louis. "how old are they?" "Josh is sixteen, Paul is fourteen, and Ryan is thirteen." answers Liam. we return home in silence. We go inside and I go to the couch and lay face down. The boys come and sit on top of me.
