Love.
Such a simple word, really. Have you ever been in love? Some people don't take teenage love seriously. I don't blame them; our reputation or feelings don't seem real or genuine to adults.
But you will know it, if you are in love. Maybe not at first, but eventually. When you can't get them out of your head for months, when you can't accept that they don't want you...when you feel as if your heart has actually painfully shattered. Then you will know. It's a hard, terrible thing.
Unrequited love.
It's enough to tear you apart and make you want to scream and cry until your last breath.
It's enough to make any sane person go crazy.
It's enough to lock up your heart for a very long time, if not forever.
Love.
