Jill and jack Went stumbling back, Up that wretched hill.
Jill kept from harm, Whilst jack broke his arm, Jill one jack nil!
Jack went to the well, When flowers did Jill smell, Jill one jack one.
Jack ran too fast, Put his other arm in a cast, Jill two Jack nil.
Jill fell in mud, Jack tripped like a dud, And the scores ended even.
