My mind is empty, numb from senseless thoughts. Endless traffic leaving voids now filled by pounding thuds. The beat of heart, not having felt desire, love, complexity, the intricacy of such intimacy.
Life is short and you only get one.

Naivety's cocoon protects the newly born. Along with time comes the indiscriminate storm. Reminded of our insignificance, there are people on the moon.
The tree on the cliff, with views of the ocean. This is contentment. The rock along the flowing river, cooled by the water. This is contentment.
In happy days of contemplation it all seems so complicated, details of who, how much, truth, words, gestures.. Stripped back, broken down, analysed in small pieces, all is too detailed.
In the small breathes in-between, life is happening, life is at it's most glorious.
So much nonsense fills my head stressed by minor details, tricked that they are more significant, I lost for a moment there my certainty that I had grown used to, all has settled and returned now but...
