I peered in and saw a plush car seats and a screen in front blocking the view to the driver. Joe then made his way round to the other side of the car and opened to door on the other side; he then got in the car. I looked back up to Dan and he just smiled at me. Reassured I got in. Dan followed shortly behind and closed the door behind him.

“Off to the base we go” said Dan cheerily.

“I still think I should have stayed behind to give Taylor a lift back” said Joe speaking up.

“Nah, you know Taylor he will probably find his own way back when it passes over” replied Dan

What did he mean by it?

Joe replied with a nod.

“The journeys going to be about 4 hours long so that gives you time to sleep if you want” Dan said softly whilst turning his head to look at me. I was pretty tired, the last I looked at the clock was on the phone when I was going to call the police; it was around 3:30am then. It must be about four now.

I gave a little nod in Dan’s direction.

I wanted to get out and fight my way back to my house even with the dead body still there -unless Taylor cleared it up. I also wanted to ask so many questions. Who are they? What do they want? And many more. In the end I was too tired to speak or even think. Then without warning I found my eyes slowly closing and my body leaning towards Dan’s. My head was now rested on Dan’s shoulder. He then moved a little and placed his arm around me, I don’t know why but I felt like it was all going to be okay. His arm around me made me feel safe and calm. Then all of those feelings went, I felt vulnerable and in danger. It wasn’t because of Dan; it was because of someone else. Then I started dreaming of my mum and dad. It was weird, I was there with them but no one noticed me. I couldn’t hear anything until the voice spoke out to me.

“It wasn’t an accident but it doesn’t matter. Trust Dan, Taylor and Joe. They will help”
