The shadow closes around me I daren't open my eyes I know it's there, I can sense it Yet I don't want to flee
The shadow strike fear into my heart Causes me lots of pain The shadow knows that I know That I don't want to part
'who are you?' I say to the shadow No answer he replies It doesn't matter because why say what I can read in his eyes It's all because of that day in the meadow
My past horrors start to take flight It's fingers gripping into my skin It's burned into my memory The happenings of that night
