In my lifetime I have owned 127 hats. All various colours and hues, shapes and sizes, fine and extravagant . They never stay for very long , where they belong..... On my head, but instead find themselves on buses and benches and at checkouts. I've stopped agonising over them now and wondering where they are. I have come to realise they are gifts for those that find them, so if you find a hat , give it a home and a head to keep warm. I left it especially there for you on that day and in that moment so you could find it!
