When I was little

I could laugh and play

Nothing bothersome would cross my mind

I would meet someone and we would instantly be friends

My mommy would do everything for me

My daddy would play with me

My uncle would sneak me sweets

My aunt would buy me everything

Now I'm older

I can buy my own things

I make my own breakfast and lunch

I don't have time to fool around

I've grown up

I have worries

I have troubles

I miss the days when I was young

But I'm no longer little
