Chapter 2
•Summer of 2011•
"Quickly," I think "hide it fast while no one's looking." I snatched it up and hid it under the coffee table next to the couch I was sitting on.
They all started looking for it, they all took quite a while looking for it. But when all there backs were turned I popped it right back on the desk. He grabbed it and ran out on stage. It was probably the funniest thing I had seen all day, all of them looking frantically for a hat.
It was the day of the Shakespeare's play I was in, Much Ado About Nothing. I was a country shepherdess named, Phoebe, who didn't come on stage until the end if the third act. As a readily I had lots of free time on my hands which I used sitting on the couch backstage doing nothing, or so it might seem because I did hid that hat I suppose.
I started cracking up when they all left after the hat was 'found'. That was probably the first sign of of my head changing for the worse. Most people might just smirk if they were me and had just done that but I started laughing until my eyes watered. It was one of the oddest things for me to do because anytime i would 'laugh' it was simply a giggle here or there.
That's probably why when Gigi came walking backstage and saw me practically dying of laughter she wanted to what was so funny. She next to me and kept trying to get me to stop, but whenever my laughing would cease she would ask what I was laughing at and then I would start cracking up all over again.
