It's so lovely today, I can see the light! The greyness has gone, He's given up his fight.
I can see the yellow sky, The orange bits too. There's a streak of pink, But most of all blue.
I have missed all this niceness, Now summer is gone. Another years wait, To me that is too long.
I wish the heat would return, For more days than one. I've enjoyed the warmth, autumn being undone.
Tomorrow starts a new day, The heat is assured. I hope it will stay, I'm sure it's secured.
