By Gemma Doyle. At the end of service at church everyone went into the fellowship hall and started eating and chatting. Then the priest made the awful announcement: "Everyone I sorely regret to inform you" everyone went silent and looked at the priest "Tom Tuchman, as you know is in the war..." He began slowly everyone was dead still and silent. "A group of terrorists attacked an army truck he was on and it set fire and every brave soldier in that truck died including..." The priest struggled to continue "Tom" everyone didn't say a word some people burst into sobs. Miranda looked at Patricia. Patricia was pale and was staring at the priest then... She fainted. An ambulance was called and Patricia was taken to the hospital the Tuchman's started to leave but Miranda forgot her coat so she ran back inside. "Miranda!" It was her boyfriend Nathaniel. "Hey Nathaniel..." Miranda started to say but choked "I-I'm sorry I have to go." But burst into tears. Nathaniel wrapped his arms around her and let her cry. She stopped in a couple of minutes "I'm sorry I'm just a wreck right now..." "It's fine. Hey I loved your brother too he was a great guy I'm going to miss him too like a lot." Nathaniel said. "Remember the diving board?" He asked. "Yeah" Miranda said wiping tears and smiling. "He tried to do a flip." Nathaniel started "But landed on his back." Miranda finished "his back was so red." " "Yeah he was in pain for a week." "Nathaniel I'm going to miss him..." And hugged him "I'll be here for you always okay? If you need someone just call me." "Okay." Miranda sniffed "I love you Nathaniel." "I love you too" he replied. They said goodbye and left.
