I live in part of you and in part of other people.
I can make your heart pound and make you faint with fright.
I am one of those scary terrors of the night.
I haunt your dreams, I know your fears, I'm part of you at times, I scare you, I make you faint in fright, I can at times destroy you.
Do you know what I am?
I am fear. Fear leads to Sorrow, Sorrow leads to Hate, Hate leads to suffering. I am fear.

It came to rest in the corner of my room, concealing its face under the cover of a cool twilight.
In my coffin of darkness I placed. A castle where the rich lay to rest. The fear that comes from a school test. Fangs as deadly as a sharpened knife. The pain that comes from a slave’s strife.
Shadows surrounding me So much so that I can't see Dark places that bring nightmares I can't make a sound… I just stare. I walk faster. I've got to run. I want to see the light of the sun.
There's a place where I'm scared to go A nightmare which troubles me so In the dark when there is just me, myself and I I can't stay away no matter how I try.
Around me. Circling. Like knives. Twisting. Laughter in cruelty. Grinning. They are so joyful in their malice. My punishers. My liberators. Singing. I am surrounded.
