By Gemma Doyle. Pets are amazing. Dogs protect you and comfort you. Cats amuse you and make you laugh. I had 6 dogs at one time and 15 another time.

My first dog Molly came to my house before i was born. When i was born Molly was very sweet to me and i loved her very much then just last year molly turned 15 and passed away this crushed me. What was even more touching is that she was clinging on for life she was clinging on to be with my family and me, to protect and love us even though she was suffering. We had to put her to sleep. I miss her a lot... We had her cremated and sprinkled her ashes at a place she loved to play.

Our second dog was Pepper. Pepper was a sweet fluffy chubby lab. I loved him. He adored playing with the other dogs and had a carefree spirit. One day Pepper came back with many injuries we had to rush him to the hospital. We thought he was going to die but he didn't. He healed and was back to his old self. But one day when i was 9 my brother and i begged our grandpa for a ride in the tractor. He agreed. We walked toward the shed and there was Pepper. He was lying very still and wouldn't move. He had a heart attack. It was very upsetting because that morning Pepper was playing outside. And there he was lying still. We had him cremated as well and sprinkled his ashes where we sprinkled Molly's.

Then there was Gadspee and Daisy. Two adorable blond huskies with a playful mood. I unfortunately don't remember Gadspee well. But i know how he died. He was hit by a car and the person driving stopped and was yelling at my mom for no stupid reason. But my mom screamed him off our property. Daisy didn't have her brother anymore but she was still her same cute self. Then one day the family went to a fair. We came back home and greeted the dogs. Daisy was happy to see us. Then she trotted off to the road. Then there was a horrible screech of a car's brakes and a sickening thud.... Paying our last respect to daisy was painful...she was covered in blood and it was to much for me... We did the same thing to her as Pepper and Molly.

One day when i was like 6 i was playing with my dad and brothers in the front yard. Then a cute blond tiny dog comes along. She had no collar so we decided to keep her. We named her Pretzel. Then we found out pretzel was our next door neighbors. They didn't seem to care that we got Pretzel a collar. They never fed her anyway. Then one day i went outside and saw Pretzel with 8 little wet bundles at her feet. "Mom! Pretzel just killed 8 squirrels! It's disgusting! Come quick!" I called. (I was 8) my mom say the things and said "Oh my gosh! These are puppies!" We were all happy and loved the puppies but mom thought they were a lot of work. There were 8 puppies but they were a handful. They always cried for milk and chased pretzel around. They were all blond except the tiniest one, P.J (Pepper junior in remembrance of Pepper.) we gave all the puppies away except P.J Pretzel is now about 70 in dog years and is completely fine she chases squirrels and other stuff. P.J he does nothing he's so fat but adorable. He walk across the front yard and starts panting! He loves eating food!

Ringo. Ringo was a friend's dog but they gave him to us. He was an adorable lab hound and loved to run around play and chase everything. But one day my little sister walked up to him and jumped on him. Startled, the usually sweet Ringo snapped at her face and teeth made contact. Realizing he'd done something bad he cowered. My sister was rushed to the ER and had to get stitches on her face. We were on the verge of giving Ringo away but we never did. We had a dog trainer train him and now he's well behaved he doesn't chase chickens anymore and he's as sweet as ever. But he still runs off so we get called and we always make new friends because of Ringo.

One day my dad went running with Ringo and they turned on a dirt road and a white kitten runs up to them crying. My dad picks up the kitten and brought it home. We thought is was a girl and named it Luna. We got Luna pink collars but she always took them off. Like P.J Luna loved to eat and got plump fast. Then we took her to the vet and the vet said she was a guy! So we renamed HIM Truffles. Truffles loves the dogs alot and humans. And we love Truffles.

Our newest edition is Mocha a teeny kitten with orange and white stripes. He meows alot and gets beat up by truffles by getting squashed and such he's adorable.

These are my pets and their stories. They are part of my family and i live them a lot.
