-TIFFANY-
I rolled over and tumbled onto the floor, realising as soon as I hit the wooden floor that I wasn't on the same side of the bed I normally sleep on.
"Ouch" I said quietly under my breath, carefully picking myself up and standing up. Just as I stood up again, Nate was standing behind me, supporting me.
"Are you okay baby?" he said, looking incredibly concerned.
"I am yeah, you got up pretty quick though"
"I promised you I'd look after you properly. You're never going to hurt yourself ever again, okay?" he said, sitting me down on the bed. He was still shirtless from last night, and I was wearing his shirt, with two buttons done up near my stomach.
"I don't feel too good" I said, suddenly rising and feeling all the blood rush down from my head and into my toes. My feet began to feel heavy, like they were made of two bricks, and I started to stumble in the direction of the bathroom.
I managed to kneel down by the toilet just in time as I threw up. I closed my eyes, wishing this feeling would pass quickly. I jumped a little as I felt Nate raking my hair back into a pony tail. He started to stroke my hair and he calmed me by gently speaking to me.
"You're okay baby, you must have had a little too much to drink yesterday, and your body isn't used to it after the coma"
I suddenly remembered the coma, and the pain I'd felt when Isabelle had hit me. I threw up again, remembering the exact pain in all the nerves in my head. It chilled me, and as I looked at my arms they were covered in little goosebumps and all the hairs on my arms were stood on end. I rolled back on the balls of my feet and sat down on the floor, as the feeling had passed.
"Maybe you should stay in bed today, at least until you feel better" Nate said, sitting next to me and wrapping his arms around you. "I would give you my shirt to keep you warm, but well.." he said, pulling me closer. He made me laugh a little.
"I'm such a mess" I said to him, resting my head on his shoulder. "I don't know what came over me, I feel a lot better now"
"Strange. Anyway, have a shower and I'll bring you some food if you want it?" he said, standing up and offering me his hands to pull myself up.
"I really really fancy bacon.. Yeah, I really do want bacon" I said, realising I was desperate for some bacon.
"Bacon? After you've been ill?" Nate said, his expression a mixture of surprise and intrigue.
"Yeah. God, I really want some bacon"
"Coming up then" he said, shuffling out of the room.
I showered and emerged in a towel, and as soon as I stepped out into the bedroom I was greeted by the smell of frying bacon. The smell was divine, but I'd already braced myself to rush back into the bathroom should I feel ill again. Remarkably, the feeling had gone, and as I took off my towel, I noted the speed of which the wave of sickness had passed.
I stood in front of my wardrobe and deliberated what to wear. I peeked out of the window, being careful not to expose myself to the neighbours, and I noticed the sky was blue but there was long, fat wispy grey clouds, threatening to rain at any moment.
I therefore decided to pull out a pair of white jeans and a red sleeveless blouse. That way, I'd stay cool if the clouds passed over but I'd be warmer than I would normally be.
I went to the mirror to brush my wet hair, and apply a thin layer of NARS tinted moisturiser. I coated my top lashes in mascara and went to sit back down on the bed.
Just as I rested myself down on the soft mattress, Nate walked in with a tray, adorned with a white rose. On a plate was a pile of bacon, a pancake and a piece of toast.
"I didn't really know what you wanted, so here's bacon with additional carbs" he said, resting the tray down next to me. I took the green tea that was alongside the plate, and took a long sip. Nate had learnt by this point that I liked my tea 2/3 boiling water and 1/3 cold, so I could sip at it straight away, and as usual he'd made it perfectly.
"Thank you babe" I said "And sorry for being such a nuisance"
"Nonsense, you're ill. When else can I really look after you?" he said, picking up my towel and throwing it out onto the corridor.
"Do you mind if I shower now?" he said, grabbing some clothes from his wardrobe which was on the other side of the room to mine.
"Sure" I said, digging into my much needed bacon and adding a slice of the pancake. "That's delicious, thank you!" I said, with my mouth stuffed full of bacon and pancakes.
"God you're so attractive this morning!" he said, causing me to cover my mouth and chew rapidly. But by the time I'd swallowed, Nate was in the bathroom.
I decided to check my phone. I pulled it off it's charging station, and turned it over so I could see my notifications.
There was various emails from fashion houses, magazines, school and businesses, texts from Will, blog posts about Hamptons life, but what really stood out was the text from Mollie. I opened it straight away and realised first of all that it was already 10am, and secondly that the message had been sent at seven.
I read it frantically, knowing I had to reply quick or she'd think something was up. "Oh my god..." I said, reading on.
