19 January 2013

It was Friday. I had picked the perfect time to go, we have a three day weekend so even if someone notices I'll have a three day head start.

This morning I had thrown together everything I would need in a duffle bag. It had mainly cloths and food. I had packed my phone and charger to entertain myself and all the money I had been keeping around the house. I don't know if I left mom any money, but she has a credit card.

The last bell rings and I'm out of my set and in the hall by the time the other kids stand up. I listen to the last chime of the bell realizing it may be one of the last sounds I hear from my old life.

I knew it would be a long way to walk home so I had brought the duffle bag with me. I had take

anything I think I need from my locker, a picture of my brother, the lock , pencils, pens and sone unfilled notebooks. I wave good-bye to my favorite teacher, Mr. Lawrence. He's amazing and the only reason I haven't run away sooner. He's only been teaching sense I got into middle school last year in 5th grade. He's my science teacher this year.

He's like 28 and is married to a girl named Sara who's a nurse down at the hospital. He's the only person I'll miss. The only one, I won't miss the bullies, Mom, anyone...just him.

I race out of school and keep telling myself, there us nothing left for you back there. Nothing. No looking back. This is your new life now and in your new life there is no turning around or looking back. There is only the future. Go.
