I never thought being so immortal could change someone's life. The feeling is so cold like ice, so strong but fragile, never moving forward yet still living. It's like you have a destination, one thing that you strive for, blood. I've dreamed of this my whole life, I knew it would be just like I imagined, exhilarating. Being a newborn vampire is difficult because the one thing you need is the blood beneath human flesh, it's harder to control yourself from human blood and start drinking animal blood, but once you've stopped you will be more thrived to explore your new talents. I felt as if I never belonged to the human world, it has never made me feel so pure. It's the one place I feel happy. The one thing I will miss the most is my family. I'll never see them again because I don't age, but they do.
I reawakened the next morning at Edward's house. I got out of my death bed. Edward put me in a comfortable position when I was going threw the process of turning into a vampire. was in my room as if he had been waiting for me. I walked up to him, grabbed his hand put it up to my lips and smiled. Then about five minutes later my thirst has gotten worse, so then Edward brought me out for my first hunt, we didn't really get much just an averaged sized deer. The satisfying taste of fresh animal blood is the one thing us vampires love, but I love two things, blood and everlasting love with Edward. I went walking in the woods with Edward he was holding my hand, it was early in the afternoon almost time for lunch. We were looking for a place to hang out when we first met but we realized it was the woods. now we were getting bored of just walking so we climbed up a tree with lots of dead branches, but it was perfect. Edward had started telling me stories about when he was a little boy, his stories are always fascinating to me. We were up there for hours telling stories, well Edward was, I was listening ,they were so interesting. He told me a story about his family harvesting crops planting cabbage, carrots, and potatoes they didn't have much for sweets either, the only sweet that they had on special occasions was carrots with sugar.
" what do you miss most about your human life? " I questioned.
" all of it" he said with a saddened look on his face.
After a while we had gotten hungry and we climbed down the tree we did not notice that it was dinner time now, so we started looking for dinner. Thirty minutes had past, and nothing. It had gotten really dark out, to dark to see so we will hunt in the morning. It was six in the morning, Edward left the house when I wasn't paying attention and found us another deer. Edward said he had a surprise for me so, he put me in his car and started driving.
" you know I don't like surprises " I remarked.
" trust me, you'll like this surprise " Edward responded.
A few hours had past and we were still not there yet. My patience had left me after about four hours in the trip.
" when do you think we will be there? " I questioned.
" in about ten or fifteen minutes." he said.
We had gotten there and I have never seen this place before, but it was the most beautiful island I have ever seen.
" where are we Edward? " I wondered.
" my grandparents gave the island to me when they died "
" how did your grandparents get this island, I thought that your family did not have much money, did they? "
" my parents did not have much money but my grandparents had enough to buy this island " Edward explained.
We unpacked, and Edward gave me a tour around the island. The island was amazing it had a house it was beautiful and had an elegant dining room. The house had an indoor pool and hot tub. We were only staying for a few days, I wish it would be longer. It was around seven and we decided to take a swim in the pool. I had forgotten to pack my swimsuit so I had to go in my bra and underwear.
" don't be a baby " I whispered to myself.
We were swimming for a half an hour enjoying the water and each other.
" thank you for taking me here, I am really happy you brought me here "
" I knew you would like this surprise, and yes you're welcome " Edward said with a smile on his face.
We finished swimming and I got dressed in a silver flower pattern gown.
William and I started a game of checkers, and of course Edward won all of them.
" how do you do that, you're like a checkers whisperer "
" I've had practice, about fifty years worth of practice " Edward laughed.
" I'm dating an old man! " I chuckled. I knew how old Edward really was he was one hundred forty six but looked like he was still eighteen, but I love him.
The next morning I found breakfast for both of us, it was the best dinner we had found since I had first turned into a vampire I found for us, a mountain lion. A few hours later, we started another game of checkers and he won again.
" okay, this time I'll take it easy on you, but just this one time ".
" oh sure you will just this one time! " I giggled. He said that he was going to take it easy on me, but I still lost. It was night time now and we went for another swim. I gave Edward a hug and he went in for a kiss, in that moment it couldn't be anymore perfect. We finnished our last swim before we left.
" what time our we leaving tomorrow? " I questioned
" we actually aren't leaving tomorrow, we are staying here until you're missing persons is gone " he responded.
" what do you mean until my missing persons is gone? " I asked.
" we have to wait until people stop looking for you " William retorted.
" how long would we have to wait? " I wondered.
" Bella, it could or will vary on how long they will look for you, but my best guess is about maybe a year or two but it depends on who's looking. " Edward said.
" well, we better get comfortable " I joked. It got dark out and there was a lake outside, so we snuggled on the couch because there was a Gorgeous full moon setting right on the horizon right in front of the lake. We also watched the sunrise, the sunrise was also gorgeous. We had to go looking for food so Edward and I went out by the lake, and found a deer. We don't have much to do on the island except play checkers and swim, watch the reflection on the lake, so Edward brought me upstairs in a room.
" what room is this? " I asked.
" this is my grandparents ballroom " Edward responded.
" so your grandparents used to dance in here? " I questioned.
Edward nodded smiling, he put his right hand on my waist turned on a slow song and made me dance. I danced along, dancing with Edward stopped the world from moving for a few minutes, he turned me around and Edward leaned in for a kiss, and of course I did too.
" I love you, so much " I said
" I love you too " he replied.
Edward and I were dancing for about an hour and thirty minutes. The next morning came and the sun wasn't out, was it suppose to rain?
" so is it suppose to rain? " I wondered.
" yes it's suppose to, so what should we do today? " Edward asked.
" to start the day what's on the news today? " I asked. So Edward turned on the news and there were story's about me being missing.
" why am I on the news? " I questioned
" I guess your family doesn't take things lightly " Edward said. About six months had past and they weren't looking anymore, I never wanted to say goodbye to my family, I love them if only I didn't have to say goodbye that would be a lot easier for me, and everybody.
" let's go swimming " I said.
" let's go then " Edward responded. We went swimming and I had to go in my bra and underwear again, but who cares .
" when do you think we can go home? " i asked.
" hopefully soon" Edward said.
i gave Edward a hug like i was pretending that everything would be okay, then I gave him a kiss, and was still giving him a hug and I wouldn't let go.
" I never wanted to say goodbye to my family, I wasn't ready to leave them"
" your family wasn't ready either, you wanted to be like this so it had to happen sooner than later Bella, you knew this had to happen " he said
A few hours had past the clock and we were swimming for hours, around five hours. It was seven in the morning and Edward looked like he was in deep thought.
" what are you thinking about? " I asked.
" I might have to go somewhere for a while, maybe for a few days " he replied.
" where would you have to go, and why. I thought it was you and I wherever we go?!? " I exclaimed.
" no, you don't understand I have to go back to see if they are still looking, the news was one thing but they could be going door to door looking for you " Edward explained.
" so when are you leaving and how long are you going to be gone? " I questioned.
" if I leave now, a couple of days, if I leave tomorrow, three days " Edward retorted.
" when will you leave?" I asked.
" when do you want me to? " Edward asked me.
" probably today so you can come home faster " I said.
" okay, I will leave today but if I get finished early I might come home earlier, I probably will stay the night back at my other house " Edward said.
An hour had past and Edward was getting ready to leave, I gave him a long kiss goodbye, then gave him a hug, then he was gone. I feel so lonely already, before I met Edward there was a hole in my life, then I met Edward, he made my life complete. I took a long bath, for an hour and fourty-five minutes, did my hair in a loose bun, colored my nails red and white. The next morning I was so excited that I couldn't wait anymore. A few hours later Edward came back and I was so happy that I ran up to him and jumped in his arms, and he fell over with me, but I was so happy to see him.
" so are they still looking? "
" no, I asked you
