Today my family went to visit a Brazilian guy my husband met at a football match in the summer. He and his finnish wife just moved to the same city as us. Which is nice as I had mentioned in a previous post life's a little bizarre here. :) Meeting the family was very nice . They seemed like perfectly normal beings.
In mid conversation between the wife and I , I can't remember the subject we were on but she started to say " well, your still youn..." Then she paused in mid sentence, " how old are you?" With my reply " 27" and her reaction " oh " I asked her , her age she said " I just turned 21 yesterday" I smiled and wished her happy birthday for yesterday. She then told her husband my age and how I don't look it, her husband turned to my husband asking his age and he told him 29 . And with that he replied " young couple then" haha
I must say I did feel flattered by this! I found the closer I'm reaching the number 30 , the older I defiantly feel. This made my day.
