Chapter 5
I felt the car collide and jerked forward,the seat belt tearing a large gash in my neck. I screamed again and started coughing up blood. Then I was being thrown forward and backward as the car tumbled down towards the bottom of a hill,my seatbelt started to rip and I tried to cling to the door but a branch broke the glass and scratched my arm. I let go and ignored the warm blood soaking my shirt. "sandy!!!" I yelled but she didn't answer and I saw blood coming from the back her head. If I didn't find something to hold onto I was going to be tossed around like a rag doll. Suddenly there was a large ripping sound and the door swung open I tried to hold on but something pushed me out and I flew through the air and hit a tree. I screamed and ran towards it as the car fell in the lake but a hand closed around my arm pulling me back. "sandy!" I yelled again I saw her red sweatshirt begin to sink below the waves. Slowly I sank to the ground and sobbed. I lay there for hours and hours screaming ads large sobs racked my body....my head ached and i could tell i was losing to much blood suddenly dizziness overcame me and i stared to pass out,just before i did I thought I saw a man all in black except the bleach white gloves on his hands walking away,but when i looked again there was no man in black. ~NEXT DAY~ I woke to someone calling my name "Ana"! Slowly i opened my eyes and saw James Kneeling next to me. I moaned and rolled over "hey,you allright...what happened" "what do you think"? I said nastily "i dont know,i just found you lying here with a bunch of scratches surrounded by blood and a large infected looking gash in your side." Suddenly loud sirens blared from the street "oh and i called an ambulance along with your grandmother" "uuuuuggggghhhh...really"? "well you look pretty beat up" "no shit" "what happened to you anyway"? "I threw myself down a hill" "that sounds like a dangerous hobby" "i got in a car accident" "oh" Suddenly i remembered "WHERE IS SANDY"! "who?" "my freakin cousin"! I got up and ran over to the water. "i wouldn't do that if i were....." I looked down and saw that my shirt was ripped all along my side,a deep gash ran from my chest down to my hip and every time i moved blood came pouring out. "crap" Suddenly my legs gave out In minutes James was by my side holding me up "sorry" i mumbled "its okay....where is that damn ambulance"? Suddenly a loud crash came from around the corner and i smelled smoke. "what was that"? I asked "i don't know let me go see" James gently put me down and ran to investigate I waited and waited but he didn't come back I was losing to much blood and my side hurt horrendously. I tried to keep my eyes open but i was to weak. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath,i had to stay alive...just a little bit longer. I felt hands touching me and screams in the background. A couple of times someone would talk to me but i couldn't remember who tell who they where. Finally i opened my eyes and saw bright sun shining down on my face. "my name is sebastian" I looked around to see a man all in black standing off to the side. "who are you"? I asked "i am a demon,sent by my master to make a deal with you" "a deal?" "yes a deal" I backed away and stared at him. "what do you mean"? "Ana you are dying in your other world,i am willing to make a deal with you,if you let me turn you into a demon and eat your soul when I see that you are mature enough i will let you live" I took in a sharp breath. This meant i would live to see james yet,this wouldn't be like a sort of whatever decision this would have to do with the rest of my life. "may I think about it?" "i will give you 6 months at the most,then you must make your decision." "how?,isn't my body dying" "yes but i will repair it until your decision,either way you end up living even if for a short while. " I nodded, "give me 6 months and you will get your decision" He smiled,bowed and left. I woke in the hospital with james smiling at my side and all my friends surrounding me. "how long was i out"? "a week,and the doctor says you will be free to leave in 2 days" "WHAT"? "yup" "what about sandy"? No one spoke Tears welled up in my eyes,but i new what had happened She was dead,because of me.
