It's times like this, When the night stretches ahead, And I am lying in bed, That I wonder.
What am I doing?, Am I all that I can be?, Is there more in store for me, What's next on fate's cards?
Dreams aren't real, Hopes are often dashed, But still I wish upon a star, Cross my fingers, Fall asleep and dream.
Will I fall in love?, Will I wish upon the stars of another sky?
All cannot be answered if I do not live, And so live I will, No matter where fate takes me.
