You read about it in the paper. The disaster, the earthquake, the evil dictator.
You hear it on the news, The ones who die, The ones who lose.
You see the footage of the starving kids, Thin and weak, rummaging through bins.
We see the propaganda, Kony 2012, Doing unthinkable things in Uganda.
We see and hear and read the tragedies, And we wonder, Is humanity fit to run this Earth?
But what we don't see and hear and read, The good things, The life saver, the money giver.
When humanity is only bad, Remember this, And be the good one.
