Multicolored Opuss, Is slowly fading away, Orange changes to black, We're entering another day.
RED was the first, color to leave. He joined all the apples, And the thread used to weave.
ORANGE followed RED, Not far behind. Mixed in the blazing sun, She'll be there for you to find.
YELLOW went after, Leaving a trail of sparks. The stars welcomed her kindly, And also did the daisies in the parks.
GREEN faded, Into the emerald trees. Surrounding and hiding, The birds and the bees.
BLUE was sad to go. He didn't know why, So he flew into, The blue, blue sky.
Little VIOLET was the last to go, And brought each and every shade, Turquoise, auburn, even periwinkle, Then all of them did fade.
Even though the colors, Aren't living IN Opuss, There's a rainbow arching OVER it, And inside each of us.
