"Wot's a Dweam-catcher?" the little boy asked for what seemed like the umpteenth time in the past month. The old man chuckled. "Now haven't I told you this before?" he questioned Cole. "Noooooo," Cole said as he smiled mischievously. "No?" Grandpa Larry asked in mock astonishment as he played along with his little grandson. "Well then I'll just have to tell you."

"There are many all over the world. A Dream-catcher catches pleasant dreams for little boys in the clouds and blows them in to their rooms each night with a hubdle-lumper, (an accordion that stores dreams) by squeezing the tube and making wonderful music that only angels and children can hear." "Woooooowwww..." Cole gasped. He still was intrigued by this story even though he had heard it many times before.

"Did I ever tell you that the Dream-catcher has multiple jobs?" Grandpa asked. "No?" Cole said (for this time he had not heard this story before) and was immediately interested. "Tell me them!" "Hold your horses, Cowboy!" Grandpa Larry spoke in a Southern accent. "I'm getting there." Grandpa sneezed. *ACHOO!* Cole giggled. "Actually," Grandpa said,"That's one of the Dream-catchers jobs! Sometimes he tickles people on their noses and they sneeze!" "Why?" Cole asked. "Because every time a person sneezes, a new flower grows." "Ohhhh," Cole said, finally "understanding." "Wot's another job?" "Well, there's the Sandman and the Chuckle Creator. And many more. But the most important one..." "Wot? Wot?" "The Life-Changer." Who does that job?" Cole questioned. "I don't know. What I do know is that only a few people are picked to do that job. So who do you think does it?" Cole thought about it. Grandpa offered his answer. "I think your one." "Really?" Cole gasped in surprise. "Me?" "Only if you make it that way."

For the rest of his life, Cole helped homeless orphans in the Guatamala and the D.R. His inspiration? Gandapa's stories.
