16 February 2013
Well, it seems like a fresh start. Time to start my life from scratch. This September, I'm going to change-everything.
Did I mention I'm Julietta Alexandra De La Cruz. My daddy only owns one of the biggest companies in Europe. No big deal though. I'm not a snobby little spoilt rich kid. I'm 15 now and I'm growing up!
3rd September Welcome back! Only to the dreary private school I attend: Mixenhead Grammar for Girls. I swear to God if I have to go through one more year of that dump (not necessarily. With its pools, squash courts, ice rinks and especially the water fountains. I mean wow!) I will die. When I say I'm not a snob, I mean I'm not like anyone else. I want to be a normal child like the children down the council estate. Maybe a bit far? Everyone else is WAY rich compared to our family- the De La Cruz's. Well, I must be dressed in my frumpy Mixenhead blue uniform for 7:30 or Pettar, my very special driver, would be kept waiting and we DO NOT want that.
4th September I can not believe my best friends! I will introduce them first of course, Miss Amelia Dahlia Marlboro- the daughter of Mr Marlboro himself. I wish I could be as witty and warming as Amelia. And not to forget Miss Giovanna Georgina Tiretta. The daughter of a rich Italian woman named Maria- who inherited thousands of pounds from her rich great grandparents. Giovanna must be the most edgy, different girl to attend Mixenhead Grammar. With her black hair, black blazer. Even the ribbons of her socks, which are meant to be blue, but were black. If Mrs Stoker finds out about Giovanna and her adventurous uniform, she is sure to be banished.
5th September It's starting to get further into the week and daddy's leaving to visit an Austrian businessman from Switzerland. We all hope everything goes well but for a couple of weeks, the house will be so quiet. I went to visit my old friend Thomas, who is extremely rich. Father wants me to marry him but its never going to work. There's just no spark between us-were just good friends. We sat and thought for a while before a letter came in the post. Isabella's party invitations. Turns out both me and Thomas were invited. But oh dear! What could I wear? I was to small to fit into any of the nice dresses I see in the designer shops. I'm not into that sort of fashion neither. I really wanted to go shop on the high street with Gi and Melia. I'd have to get past mother first…
6th September And it's Friday! I have one more day until Isabella's party on Sunday and I still haven't found ANYTHING. (It was a little short notice, like) as daddy's gone, I feel like we all have nothing to do anymore. Every Friday he takes us out into this post restaurant where we all talk about our week, but not this week. Mum bellowed through the empty house whilst my groaning sister (we all forget about her and pretend we don't know her) Arianna trots inside. "OH ARIANNA! Don't get mud on the new carpet, darling. Your father had it imported very quickly from Switzerland yesterday. As soon as he arrived. Be grateful. Blah blah blah blah blah," my mother chattered away. I don't see why, no one listened.
8th September Isabella's party- I've been on a great shopping spree on my first trip to the high street. It's ever so busy and full of different people we are meant to stay away from. The dress I bought is so gorgeous! It's pink and from 'Topshop'. What a lovely shop, not that expensive either. Thomas is my date for the night and is here to pick me up. Aw! He looks so adorable in his suit but by the looks of it- he is stricken by the thought of me in a dress! "Wow! Well erm, you look stunning! Shall we be off then?" He eventually stutters out.
10:56 The party was fantastic! And Gi and Melia looked so beautiful in their Dior dresses or whoever they were wearing. Everyone loved MY dress though I and think I may have influenced a new trend- high street shopping. I must tell you about Michael. He's obviously smitten with me! And he has invited me on a date to the park on Tuesday. Oh dear! And he's so posh. He must have high expectations.
9th September I do hate Penelope! She's just a rich bitch who wants all the attention. Trying to sneak off Michael. He climbed over the gate to see me today and he kissed me! The best kiss ever. Today he bought me lunch and we talked about things and when we should meet at the park. I do hope this is all real!
10th September Michael is so lovely bringing a small bottle of Champagne to our date. I've never felt so happy about just being with a cute rich kid before. His family are coming with us on a surprise trip to Paris I wasn't meant to know about. I won't be writing for a while as we're are meant to be flying tomorrow after school. Ttyl:)
19th September The trip to Paris was so romantic and Michael just seems to have fallen head over heels for me. He spoilt me, took me out, sat with me, shopped with me. What a charmer! He can't be pretending as if he were I would cry for days maybe weeks. The Paris trip was only because mummy had a meeting but it turned out to be a great holiday for us all. Mrs Stoker will be fuming when I go back to school tomorrow :D can't wait for a fortnight of detentions.
20th September I feel so cheated! Michael came and saw me for lunch again today but when I popped to the loo he was all over Penelope like a house on fire. I grasped my lemonade so tightly I could have smashed the glass. When Michael and Penelope were French kissing just like when Michael was kissing, I threw my drink at the spoilt girls and got her to clear off. She was so shocked her make up jumped right off her skin and she ran away, frightened. Next, I got the gravy boat and poured every last drop on Michaels soft blond hair before running off home with tears flooding down my flushed cheeks. What happened? Was it real? What do I do? I couldn't see from the tears forever welling up in my eyes. I declined all his calls, texts, voicemails when everything spun out of control and the world froze around me. CRASH!...
