I have a rose. From my true love. I keep it in my room, in a thin, blue, glass vase. It is tall and has a little bird on it. What I've wondered is what roses stand for, what do they mean? I asked around and concluded:
Thorns = The pains of love.
Stem = The things that keep you together, the 'backbone' of a relationship.
Leaves = Shelter - Having someone to turn to.
Petals = Depending on the colour, it shows the aspects of love, or a loved one -
• Pink - Sweet and New. • Red - Rich and Passionate. • White - Honest and Pure. •Yellow/Orange - Bright and Seductive.
My rose is white. Well, that's what my true love gave me; a white one. I think it suits us perfectly. Our love is pure, like no other before.
