This is for the broken ones This is for all those who care About everyone But still take time for themselves
For all the broken ones who grieve For one and for all
The broken ones Who won't admit It's become painful to say Nothing is shown to reveal Their disheartened world
The broken ones Who hide or run Deeper than anyone can see Nobody can see it So nobody can help Tearing them apart
For the broken ones Who force smiles to conceal Devastations bitter taste Around a wounded heart
The broken ones With problems at home Or work Or school Or just inside themselves
Hold on tight Don't give in Be yourself And wear a grin Happiness is light It fights the dark Hold onto the hope And your little spark of light Ignite the flame Inside your heart Fight the demons And the dark
Nothing lasts forever In both bad and In good You aren't the only one Reach out and you'll see Soon your life shall be full of glee
If you need a helping hand Reach out The sky's the limit Ask someone Anyone Your teachers, your colleagues It could be your doctor Or aunt or uncle Sister, brother Carer, mother
