An ancient legend Derived from the south A tree shedding golden tears A promise of length of years if found.. Exclaimed word of mouth
Young lovers Searched to find this tree Buried deep in forest green Whose raindrops melted Into the earth A treasure chest Of enormous wealth Only a truthful heart Would reveal the unseen
In mighty storms Cascades of rain Hypnotised by its call Branches without bloom Spell ominous doom Still the legend lingers As raindrops fall
