My Hero can't leap tall buildings with a single bound. He doesn't wear a black costume with a cape and pointy ears. He hasn't scored the winning touchdown or shot a three - pointer at the buzzer to win the championship. My Hero isn't any of those things.

My Hero helped me out of the darkness and the cold He helped me in a way years of hard work and counselling couldn't, my hair thinning from worrying, my eyes a horrible dead tone. His voice is light and soothing. My Hero is all, All of these things.

My Hero sat with me when I was sad and crying. He was by my side throughout the best and worst times of the last 3 years. He comforted me when I wanted to cry, he never left me high and dry. My Hero is all these things.

My Hero loved me for almost three years now. He made sure that I know the difference between right and wrong. He taught me how to work hard and the importance of honesty. My Hero has done all these things.

My Hero has earned my love and respect. No one else could take his place 'cause my Hero is my Boyfriend.

He isn't an activist or a football player, nor Is he a politician or model.

What he is is my hero, the light in my tunnel, the fire in my heart.

Without him I'd probably still be an emotional wreck.

Without him I'd be alone.

He's such a strong guy, even when he has problems he makes an Effort to fix mine.

Thank you to my hero. Though you may not wear a cape, you're still my superman.
