If you haven't already heard, tom Daley, a team GB diver received a tweet from an anonymous account telling him that he "let his dad down" and "that he will never produce results for his country"
I think that's sick, Tom Daley did the best he could, you can't always win. But telling someone they are a disappointment to their recently deceased father is just sick.
And now they've released details on who sent it, I just feel worse, and I completely condone what he did.
The person who sent him the tweets is a 17 year old boy, lives on benefits in a bedsit and his father has 11 children.
He grew up in a very unstable home, he suffers from ADHD.
But that still doesn't make what he did right, there are lots of people with ADHD who live perfectly reasonable lives and contribute to society in amazing ways. So you can't blame ADHD.
His upbringing was unstable, very unstable but there are people with worse who have gone on to do great things, so you can't blame that either.
I just can't understand why someone would do this, it sickens me to my core.
things like this need to be controlled, but I worry if they start censoring, they'll never finish.
I just think this story is sad, and a society like the one we live in was just waiting for something like this to happen.
I can't really say much more, I'm just sad and sickened and hope Toms ok.
And R.I.P to Toms dad, they had an amazing bond and I don't think Tom could ever disappoint him.
