(can I just say thank you to all of the lovely people who support the story as its reached chapter 12 and a massive thank you to those who have reported it as you have widened it's fan-base massively :D its a great motivation for me)

Sea spray like sparkling jewels glistening in the sun shimmer Even in the pale light of the moon

"All aboard The Marcelines great revenge! The most sea worthy ride there be!

Sun, wind, hail or rain to the furthest expanses there can be, no location too far, no journey too small

Pouncing through the waves like a tiger in the undergrowth, she stalks her prey and challenges alike

Riding the waves, sailing the sky, to where you are or wish to be she sails in danger or in leisure

All aboard The Marcelines great revenge! The most sea worthy ride there be!

You're welcome here be you dignitary or sea scoundrel, give us a challenge and we'll set the co-ordinates

All aboard The Marcelines great revenge! The most sea worthy ride there be!"

Or so her shanty goes, one regularly versed by the less sober members of crew downstairs

We've been aboard the Marceline for what feels like months, but in reality it has been two long weeks, one since we've seen even the smallest speck of land

Onyx and the red guard as they are known spend most of their days up in the captains shanty, a large, ornamental room at the back of the ship with dark blue curtains that shiver in the iced winds like the indigo seas beneath us that conceal all of the "official" and important work such as course setting and deciding what they're going to do with their new problem. Me

I however spend most of my days out on the rather unstable Dark wood starboard deck of the ship, marvelling at the vast variety of fish that end up stuck in the criss-cross railings all of fanciful shades of reds, oranges and golds, all incredibly different to the bland brown and grey fish we would eat back home

Home

I wonder what the people back home must think, I've been gone for just under a month but something tells me I'm hardly missed, I was always just one extra mouth to feed at a time of famine and hunger.

Doesn't really matter too much to me now, I've got bigger things to worry about now, namely at least one gang of reavers out for me maybe more as news spreads.

Why did I have to end up in this mess?
