I hate to become some sort of philosopher but this question has been on my mind for a while.

I think a bad person is someone who endangers the rights of anyone else. But some people say that If someone has made you suffer, why don't you have the right to make them suffer too. In response to this I think that neither of the two people have the right to make the other person suffer in the first place.

So what exactly makes a bad person, let's just say there was a charity worker , this charity worker stole money from his\her local newspaper shop. It was only a £20 note. This £20 note then went towards a well building project in Namibia.

Was this charity worker in the wrong if they needed this £20 or the project would be delayed another year if in this year 10 or even 20 people could have died?
