The boat jolted restlessly. The treacherous seas swept petrified Michael off his shoeless feet. Desperately, Michael tried to seize his dog, Stella, but it was just to late, Stella had fallen into the cold trap of the sea." MAN OVER BOARD!" yelled Michael frantically though he was alone in the darkness of the night. The wind blew harder. Despairingly, Michael grabbed the soaking wet, slippery handrail. It was his only. He grasped it firmly, hanging on for dear life. However, a humongous tidal wave came crashing upon him. But just as he opened his mouth to scream, the monstrous wave swept him into the biting sea. Michael paddled ferociously through the violent oceans, drastically trying to stay afloat in this living nightmare. But all of a sudden he caught a slight glimpse of Stella. It couldn't be. He swam with all his might until he came across the mopey, sodden dog. Michael hugged Stella securely, despite that she was weak and useless and she could not dispell the fears that awaited her. But Michael loved Stella. The thunderous sky, murky grey like the evening puddles towered dauntingly above boy and dog as they ploughed through the remorseless ocean. As a huge wave drew closer Michael closed his eyes wishing that they could stay safe. But as they felt the wave swoop them miles and miles from their boat they just hoped that they would end up somewhere near shore
