It's the way my name rolls off your tongue,
Pleasantly different from everyone else.
It's the way you look into my eyes,
charmingly deep with profound tenderness.
Its the thousand butterflies that let loose
When you speak of your cares for me.
My heart pounds like a rolling drum,
Each time you speak sweat nothing's.
Its The smoothness of your voice,
Calms the very storm that rages within me.
And Sometimes I don't need anything said,
To know without a doubt of your feelings.
You have become my rock and my pillar.
I turn to you as my fortress from the war.
I depend on you as my encourager, my peace,
I find you turning my frowns into smiles.
I'm not sure where I'd be without you
Living and running life alone
Missing out on seeing your smile
And hearing your strong voice every day
But I do know, life without you.
sad and barren, Lonely and idle.
You are like a fresh breath,
Refreshing, and free to me.
I'm thankful for you here and now and forever.
