"Wow, its really pretty here." Gwenne said as they rode. "Of course Gwenne, that is why we live here, when you saw this place, you sat yourself on a tree stump and refused to move unless we moved here. And know we live here." Cedric said with a chuckle. "Wow, I must have been one stubborn child!" she said. "Nay Gwenne, that was just two years ago. I really must have hit you harder than I thought. Come, for Sir Oswin waits."

"GWENNE, DARLING!! ARE YOU HURT? How's mommy's little angel?" a large pompous woman screamed as she fled the glamorous castle. "She is fine mother. And do you think you should be running at your fragile state?" Cedric said as he and Gwenne dismounted. "Don't you be taking after your father now, worrying about me every single moment. Besides, it's not even noon yet and you bonked your twin sister on the head!" mother stated. "Um..." Gwenne began to be quite dizzy. "What is it Miss Gwenne?" said an older man exiting the castle. He looked to be in his fifties. With grey eyes and salt and pepper shoulder length hair pulled back with a leather strip. He was wearing brown breeches with a grey tunic, brown leather boots, and a sword belt and sheathe. "Ah, Sir Oswin, they have arrived, please make sure my angel is all right." Mother commanded as Gwenne fell to the ground.

"Is Gwenne alright Sir Oswin?" asked mother, as she paced about the room. "Brielle, what did I tell you about strenuous activity in your delicate state?" said a tall, lean man sitting in wingback chair in the corner. "Just stop thy jesting Kemry. Canít you see Gwenne is waking?" Her mother stated tersely. "What happened?" Gwenne mumbled as she sat up. "Well, Miss Gwenne, when you returned to the estate, you dismounted to quickly and your blood rushed to your head which made you faint." Sir Oswin answered. As Gwenne looked about the room, she saw Sir Oswin, her brother Cedric, her mother Brielle, and her father Kemry. She thought it was funny that she so quickly accepted these people as her family. "Dear, are you feeling better?" asked Kemry. "Yes, Iím fine. Thank you for asking." Gwenne replied "Now," Sir Oswin began "you need to rest Miss Gwenne. No training, no horseback riding, no strenuous activity." "But..." Cedric interrupted "And Lady Brielle, the same goes for you. Good day to you, I must be going now" Oswin finished as he left the room. "Is Gwenne alright? I heard that she was injured," said a young man that burst into the room. "Yes Edward, Gwenne is fine. Hello to you too!" Cedric replied jokingly as Edward kneels by Gwenne's bed and holds her hand while looking into her eyes. "Oh sorry Cedric, Hello all. Gwenne, what happened?" Asked Edward while he searched her eyes intently. Gwenne did not know what to say to this dashing young man who seemed to be just as taken with her as she was with him. "I became worried when you did not show up for our... um?.. duel." He continued with a wink. "Are you my brother too?" Gwenne asked hoping he was not. Edward was a handsome youth with short black hair, green eyes filled with mirth. He wore a red tunic, gray vest, black belt, and gray breeches with black leather boots. "No, I'm not your brother!" he laughed I'm your friend." he finished with a wink "Oh. So were..." "Child, you two are courting." Kemry interrupted. "WHAT?" Lady Brielle screeched, and then fell over with a stressful sigh. "Mother!" Cedric called out as he went to his mother's side. "Son, go fetch Sir Oswin before he leaves" Kemry stated calmly. As Cedric ran from the room Gwenne looked into Edward's eyes. "We're... together?" Gwenne asked hopefully "Yes. We were to have a picnic today and when you never showed I was worried something terrible happened. Are you sure you're all right?" "I'm fine! Just a bump on the head. I'm sorry I ruined our picnic." "That's all right. We can just go tomorrow. But now, you need to rest! I'll see you tomorrow." Edward said as he kissed her forehead and left the room.
