As I scroll through todays ever increasing library of absurdity categorized as 'television', I wonder; should I tune into a show that will appropriately shape my ethics and morals in present day's society? Highlight the failure of Britain's democracy? Broaden my views on issues such as; sexism, racism and anti- semitism? Underline the issues of my approaching adulthood and shape me into a better being?
Well, my friends, I have found a show that does exactly this. A show that is uniting the hands of many, consigning a new concept of love to the nation and is slowly but surely changing the face of humanity. The light of it shines into society, brightening the world of those observing. This show is Channel 4's 'Coach Trip'. 'Hark!' you may cry 'this is not entertainment, I reject viewing the eminence of British men and women demoralised by trashy tourists!' Some might bellow 'I do not accept Brendan Sheerin ( the innuendo spluttering tour guide) as the leader of a better civilisation! Well, I brush these dejecting quotes from my shoulders and appreciate 'Coach Trip' for what it is.... Genius.
