You see a £97 shirt, but don't have any cash. So you borrow £50 from your mum and £50 from your dad which equals £100. You buy the shirt and have £3 change, so you give £1 to your mum and £1 to your dad and you keep the third £1 to yourself. So you now owe your mum £49 and your dad £49. So £49 + £49 = £98 plus your £1 = £99, So where is the missing £1??
