Always the vultures Circling, searching.
These two, In secret bliss, The hidden prey. Sheltered, just for now.
Both painfully aware, Avoiding detection; Casual denial and blushing cheeks.
Pride will not allow the world to know, How they whisper in the dark.
So long has been spent to secure this pair of fortresses.
Though allied, Not prepared for surrender.
Behind his walls were troubles no one knew, And beyond hers a heart to mend them.
