Seasonal - Winter
The girl awoke with frosty eyes. Her legs were frozen to the ground as it bit at her, but she had grown used to it by now. It was painfull and difficult to stand up but as she did so the ground satisfyingly crunched below her feet. The girl was unshure to how she was still alive. Her skin was wilted, her bones were rotted and her heart was frozen. She didn't care anymore. At this very moment the ice which had been holding her back her whole life melted and she finally stepped free. In every step she took the ground became clear and new life was born. She took more and more steps forward and the world around her transformed. This was the happiest the girl had ever been. A glimmer caught the girls eye as she realised that she was standing at the foot of a lake. In the water a girl stared back at her. She was wasted and behind her stood death. She told the girl in the water that she was perfect in every single way. That she didn't need to worry and that she was the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen. Happily, she decomposed into the ground where she stood and became the comforting tree she once was. The girl in the water rose up; tired from her life she laid rest beneath the great tree.
The girl awoke with foggy eyes.
