As you may have seen. I am currently uploading chapter by chapter episodes of 'The White Rabbit'. This is not actually my first time writing it. It is actually a rewrite of the origional White Rabbit, titled, 'The White Rabbit and The Dark Horse'. I started it around a year and a half ago now and it is set in the atlantic city of New London. I must've spent atleast 10 hours just writing out the brief plot line for the story. I spent a considerable amount of time researching Jack The Ripper and the meanings symbolism of various animals. The 'White Rabbit' I am currently uploading to Opuss is not just a rewrite of the origional but it is actually written in such a way that it could be easily scripted and acted out. As a result, a few things had to change. It is now set in the present, London. I also changed Alice considerabelly into a much wittier character since I did not feel she was particularly 'lovable' in the origional. This is just the 3rd draft and I intend to do atleast 5 before I feel this will be truely finished. After I finish this version, I will return to the origional, since this version is also being used as more of an aimless test run, it atleast gives me good base for when I return to the origional. I also now have a friend working on the origional. He is helping me to create a much more developed world as a whole and a lot of work is going into it. There are actually plans to create a second and third series whereby (insert name here) returns to the surface to find the world in a very different situation to when they left it.
Here's a fun fact. New London is just one of the many 'EDEN's' in the White Rabbit universe. EDEN's are a kind of super city designed as the future for the overpopulated world but due to a lack of funding from the new world government, many of these EDEN's are on the brink of 'Rapture'. So as you can see. 'The White Rabbit' barely scratches the surface of this world. This world that does not even live on paper as of yet.
