Since I've bought a ukulele,
oh the joy that I have had,
Learning all the different chords,
Although I'm still quite bad.
I've played it on the beach,
And played at Edge Hill Uni,
If you put it close to a guitar,
It still looks rather puny,
I really like the sound it makes,
And I like its nylon strings,
And one more thing I quite enjoy,
Are the smiles it brings,
So, just a short sum-up,
how much I love my ukulele,
It gives me such a strong desire,
To want to play it daily.
